What may or may not be carried in your hand luggage depends on the airline. According to the general rule, medicines, plasters, etc. are allowed, but liquids are limited. You may bring a maximum of 1 litre of liquids per person, in containers not exceeding 100 ml, such as little travel bottles. These should be in one transparent, resealable plastic bag or pouch. Scissors and lancets should be packed in your hold luggage.
