- You lie far above the ground: there is no contact between the sleeping surface and the floor, so you are not affected by cold coming from below. If you head for really cold conditions, you can put a thin sleeping mat on top of your camping bed for extra comfort.
- You’re immediately ready: an air mattress still needs to be inflated, but that's not the case with a camping bed. You just click it into place and you’re ready for a wonderful night’s sleep.
One camp bed is not like the other, just as one sleeper is not like the other. What you should pay attention to when making your purchase:
- That your camping bed is big enough. Too big won’t be an issue, but a bed that’s too small will never be comfortable.
- That you have enough space to install your camping bed. Don’t forget the height of the space. You really don’t want to bang your head or limbs against walls or the ceiling at night.
