To think it all started in 1969 with board shorts with metal studs and Velcro, a real revolution in the surf world at the time. When Quiksilver crossed the ocean to Europe, it turned out that surfing in the northern hemisphere is not always wonderfully warm. So they expanded the collection in the 1980s to include snowboarding and skiwear, resulting in the world-famous mountains and waves logo!
