It all began with winter sports. However, with its good experience regarding skiing, touring and mountain climbing, Peak Performance soon expanded its collection to other (outdoor sports) activities. Therefore, you can quickly switch between daily life in the city and wild adventures. Besides loving (winter) sports, a love of nature is also at the heart of Peak Performance. The company focuses not only on the sustainable production of its collections, but also on sustainable trading and repair services. Animal welfare is also a priority: mules and live plucking for down production are out of the question.
The history of Peak Performance began more than 30 years ago in Åre, the most famous winter-sports’ village in Sweden. In 1986, three skiing fanatics became acquainted: a professional skier, the chief editor of Sweden’s top skiing magazine and a designer. To start with, they made skiwear for themselves and their friends in the village, but Peak Performance soon grew and became a world-famous brand for sports’ fashion.
