Morakniv
In the Swedish town of Mora, sharp knives have been crafted for the rest of the world for over 400 years. In 1891, Frost-Erik Erson established a factory there that made wooden sleds. He also crafted the knives (‘kniv’ in Swedish) he used in his workshop. Over the years, his knives were distributed by travelling salesmen and became sought after by artisans. In fact, they gained so much popularity that the factory has focused exclusively on knife production since 1904..
