Millet
Think of the journey we've traveled together, from the first nylon bag used by Walter Bonnati in the 60s to Christophe Profit's Gore-tex suit in '87, and the Everest shoe in 2000 seen on the 8000-meter Himalayan peaks. More recently, the Trilogy 15+ bags and Pierra Ment Evo. This equipment consistently meets the demands for fast and light mountain practices.
We've always supported those who write the history of mountaineering: Lachenal, Bonnati, Messner, Profit, Desmaison, and more recently, Charles Dubouloz and Symon Welfringer. Committed to our community, we partner with prestigious guide companies in Chamonix, Grindelwald, Cervin, and Hakuba in Japan. The spirit of collaboration that guides every mountain enthusiast in their quest for the unknown inspires us daily.
In constant exchange with these experts, we develop reliable, durable, and adaptable products. Passionate and committed, we evolve with mountains, limiting our impact and protecting biodiversity.
Millet's story is also a family ascent, started by Marc and continued by his wife Hermance in 1938, who brought their sons René and Raymond into the venture. They began supplying the first backpacks to the big names in mountaineering. Today, Romain and Jean Pierre Millet, the great-grandson and grandson of the founders, passionately continue the Millet brand's legacy.
