That’s why this climate-neutral brand uses environmentally friendly, safe alternatives to plastic and treated aluminium for its beautifully designed products. The bottles are made of stainless steel, one of the safest ways to store beverages, without using any toxic substances and or coatings. Therefore, they don’t give off any unpleasant odours or flavours, and they’re easy to clean. 

Plus, Klean Kanteen supports numerous sustainable initiatives and organisations that work to protect nature. For example, they’ve been donating 1% of their annual turnover to environmental organisations since 2008 via their ‘1% for the planet’ commitment. They say thinking about creative solutions really energises them. In addition to drinking bottles, you will also find straws, lunch boxes and storage boxes, and baby bottles in the collection. 

For the birth of the brand, we rewind to 2002. The problem with plastics was not very well known at that time. But Robert Seals, inventor and founder, clearly saw the problem and decided to develop an alternative himself. Our world needs more of these kinds of enterprising, inventive people. Cheers, Robert!
