About Blue LOOP Originals – T-shirts, sweaters and knitted jumpers made from… worn-out jeans and old woolen sweaters? Or outdoor jackets made from recycled post-consumer garments? You name it, Blue LOOP Originals does it. For these Dutch innovators, old textiles aren’t waste, they’re new raw materials for functional and comfortable clothing. So, it’s no surprise that their mission statement is ‘WORN to REBORN!’

 

Their Refibra T-shirts are made from a mix of REFIBRA Lyocell, recycled cotton and organic cotton. For REFIBRA Lyocell, wood pulp from sustainably grown forests is blended with recycled cotton scraps. The mix of materials provides a breathable, odor-resistant and quick-drying T-shirt. With fun print based on one of the 4 elements: wind, water, earth and fire.

 

The functional jackets are made of 100% recycled polyester. The Virga Iso jackets are warm insulation jackets for active adventures. Breathable, lightweight and year-round wearable as you can wear the jacket as a mid-layer or on its own. And uniquely, the jacket is circular, so return it for recycling when it is completely worn out. This way, we eliminate waste and can use the raw material for new products.
