Special terms and conditions of the optional theft insurance for rented equipment

The insurance covers the theft of the rented equipment during the agreed rental period.

The cover only applies if all items included in the rental contract are insured.

Each lessee shall manage the rented equipment with due diligence, shall not leave it unattended and shall secure it with a lock where possible.

Theft of rented equipment is only recognised if an original Official Report can be produced, drawn up by the local police at the destination or place of theft (witnesses or statements from third parties are not valid proof of theft). This Official Report can be presented up to one day after the expiry of the agreed rental period and only in the shop where the rental agreement was drawn up.

In case of theft, A.S.Adventure must be notified immediately by telephone on +32 3 808 46 32.

If no valid Official Report can be produced and winter sports equipment is missing at the time of delivery, the standard terms and conditions of rental shall apply.

This insurance does not cover damage or breakage of the rented equipment in any way; the standard terms and conditions of rental also apply here.
