What you can rent, what it costs and how it all works? We'll answer all your questions so that our snowboard and ski rental has no more secrets for you. And after that: just drop by, rent and go on your adventure!

General

From camping and trekking gear to bikepacking panniers, and water sports and winter sports gear, the rental range at A.S.Adventure is vast. Check out all the available gear and corresponding prices in this overview of rental products.

Not currently. You can just pop into one of our stores to make your reservation.

You pay an advance when you book your equipment in the rental store. You then pay the balance and deposit when you come to pick up your equipment. Are you paying with a credit card? This can also be used for the deposit with an authorisation. If everything is in order when you return the items, the deposit will be returned.

Yes. When you return the rented equipment, we will check it all together to make sure it’s still in good condition. If everything is in the same condition as when you received it (dry and clean), naturally, we will return the deposit. Is the material dirty, damaged, or broken? Then you will not get (part of) the deposit back. Of course, we just assume that you’ll return everything neatly and you’ll get your deposit back in full.

  1. Just pop into a store. Once you have made up your mind, all you have to do is sign the rental agreement and pay the advance. We will hold your chosen equipment for you.
  2. A few days before your adventure, you will receive an e-mail letting you know your equipment is ready.
  3. Pick up your equipment at the rental shop and pay the balance owed and the deposit. Your adventure can then begin.
  4. Return your equipment to the rental shop in time. Please ensure you return it dry and in good condition so the next person can enjoy it as much as you.
  5. We will check the equipment together. If the product is in the same condition as when you rented it, you get your deposit back in full.
  6. Our team will carefully check the equipment again afterwards (and take care of any cleaning, if necessary). This will make sure it is ready for the next person.

For winter sports gear, please refer to our overview of all rental stores. You can choose stores with and without try-on sets.

The earlier the better. This will ensure you are not limited in choice when finding the right equipment for your outdoor experience. What if you have decided last minute that you need something? Feel free to call one of our rental stores; who knows, maybe the equipment you want is still available.

Yes. This will ensure the customer after you can pick up the equipment on time. The price for one day or two days is the same. So maybe give yourself two days rental.

The manual and instructional videos for the equipment can be found on the online equipment pages. But you can also ask one of our employees for tips when you pick up your equipment. This means you can go out with peace of mind.

Of course, you take the best possible care of everything. But we’ll still assess any damage together when you return your gear. Our on-site experts will measure the damage and charge the fee due, so we can get the gear repaired.

Theft or loss must be reported by phone to the store where you rented the items as soon as possible. A fee will be charged in the store afterwards. That fee is determined by our on-site experts.

If you change your mind, for whatever reason, you can cancel free of charge up to 2 weeks before the start of the rental period. If you cancel within 2 weeks before the rental period, the deposit will not be refunded. Is the cancellation because of a medical reason? Then exceptionally your deposit will still be refunded if you can produce a valid doctor's certificate.

Yes, you can. This is a handy way to use up any remaining amount on your gift voucher. A partial payment is therefore also possible. You will then have to match the remaining amount with another payment method.

Absolutely. Our rental service is a sustainable initiative. By paying with eco-vouchers, you complete the circle.

As outdoor enthusiasts, our mission is to protect nature. This is why A.S.Adventure is committed to a circular sharing economy. Not only with responsible offers (the impact of each product is as small as possible), but also by making our company more sustainable.

If you rent equipment from A.S.Adventure instead of buying it, it will be used by several people together. The result: less raw materials and energy are used.

Save storage space at home; you often need this equipment just once a year.
Do you intend to use equipment more often but still have doubts? Renting is ideal if you are trying something for the first time or want to test it out. Finally, renting is a way to contribute to the sharing economy.

Picking up and dropping off

For each day of delay, a compensation will be charged that amounts to 30% of the rental price per week. So it is best to return the equipment on time. This way, you will save yourself unnecessary costs and the next customer will be able to enjoy it without any worries.

You will receive an e-mail as soon as your equipment is available to be picked up at your rental shop.

Please return your equipment no later than the date stated on your rental agreement. This is very important because the next person wants to enjoy the equipment as well.
